Menopause is not a disease it is a natural process, which is faced by almost every woman. It is a miserable fact that menopause cannot be diagnosed earlier because of its different stages. There is not any exact age for menopause. Menopause is one of the confusing stages in a woman’s life. But it is a miserable fact that it cannot be diagnosed earlier. There are some symptoms, which can help to determine the menopause. When these symptoms appear then menopause can be diagnosed by various tests. Menopause is a condition that occurs due to the change in the hormonal level at the age off 45 to 55 years. Menopause is also difficult to diagnose earlier because there is no exact age for all women. The age and conditions varies from women to women. Menopause takes place due to the decreased level of estrogen, progesterone, testosterone and some other hormones and all the problems after menopause and during menopause are linked with hormonal changes.
When some symptoms of the menopause appear then it can be diagnosed by different type of tests. There are some urine tests for menopause, which are similar to the pregnancy test. Most of the doctors don’t believe on these tests and consider them as unreliable. Menopause is the condition when a woman has had her last periods, in this condition there is no need of test. In such case menopause is confirmed. But in case of pre menopause, which can last about 2 to 8 years different signs and symptoms can be seen.
During pre-menopause a woman can be in problems when she faces different symptoms of menopause like hot flashes, changes in mood, insomnia, irregular periods and short menstruation periods. All these symptoms are the result of fluctuations in the hormone level. There are different types of menopause hormone test, which are helpful to diagnose the various stages of menopause.
